Shot on Thames River in London today...
I cant match the brown strip on the back of the neck...

They appear to be Graylag Geese, or a hybrid thereof.

Seems interesting that these geese would be so far away from home.
I may have misled with my location, it is the Thames River in London Ontario!

Not so far, they probably came form Story Brook Gardens in Springbank Park.  This species is widely kept as a domestic stock

Yes, it's a domestic hybrid. The brown strip is probably from Swan Goose genes mixed in with the Graylag Goose.
