Lots of Bald Eagles this winter, saw 4 yesterday 3 adults and 1 juv. There are 2 adult birds just north of the village of Queenston along the Niagara Parkway. An adult and a juv at Gonder's Flats(Service Rd #7) on the Parkway near Fort Erie.
There also has been an adult hanging around Service Rd #18 (closer to Niagara Falls.)
There is a Red Shouldered Hawk at Boyers Creek and the Parkway. This bird seems to winter over(this is the 3rd winter that I have seen it here) in the area and can usually be seen in the pine and spruce bush around Boyers Creek. In the same area I spotted a Great Blue Heron walking edge of the bush after a bit we realized the heron was hunting mice with some success to my surprise.
Of coarse there is also the water fowl ducks geese tundra swans and gulls  in large numbers from Fort Erie to Niagara on The Lake.
