At 10:30 this morning I found 3 Greater White-fronted Geese in the mix at the Everett Gravel Pit. I also observed 2 Ross's Geese and at least 4 Cackling Geese. Tree Swallows were also present.

The Everett Gravel Pit is located on the 5th Sideroad between Concessions 3 and 4 just southwest of Everett, Ontario.

Yes I saw the Tundra Swans. Hopefully you saw the Greater White-fronted Geese? I thought there was only one, but when I got home and looked at my photos there were 3 in the frame and a Ross's Goose in the same frame.

Here's a photo of the 3 Greater White-fronted Geese and a Ross's Goose on the left. The geese were quite distant so not optimal for photography.

I did have a quick glance through my photos - now I'll go through them again to double check.
Cheers

I was there this afternoon, but very few geese in the pit, and only Canada's. There were more geese in the fields, but I couldn't find anything rare there either. A nice assortment of ducks though, with lots of Ring-necked Ducks, about 15 Hooded Mergansers, 3 Am. Wigeons, 2 Green-winged Teal and 2 Northern Pintail.
