Sighting Saturday February 16th
At the Toronto Golf Club (they open it up for free to skiers, walkers, and tobogganers in the winter), off Dixie Road in Mississauga and along the Etobicoke Creek, I spotted 4 Bluebirds. Three males and one female. They were eating some red berries on a bush near a birch tree when I startled them then they flew up the tree. I watched them and listened to them for a few minutes then they went back to their feast about 10 feet from me.
Of all the birds to see on that frigid day, I didn't expect the Bluebird:)
