On Saturday, I saw a male Osprey performing a skydance routine in presence of a female. I have never seen one before. It lasted about 2-3 minutes and was fascinating to watch because of the loud and long courtship calls and interesting flight patterns. I also saw my first Common Loon and Blue-winged Teal at Colonel Sam Smith Park on Saturday. I visited Downsview Park Sunday morning. Among other regulars I saw three Northern Flicker - one was calling continuously, and twelve or so Caspian Terns sitting by the pond.

1. Osprey Skydance - I joined four aerial shots together to make this panoramic shot.

2. Common Loon - I didn't have to travel north to see one.

3. Horned Grebe

4. Northern Flicker

6. Caspian Tern
