Several Bobolinks were at the very top of tall trees in various places throughout the Baselands of the Leslie Street Spit this afternoon - started hearing them around 2 and they were still there burbling away when I left after 4! Look way up! All sorts of warblers but others will post on the Wet Woods thread. Just wanted to get the word out about the Bobolinks. Try the 'hollow' to start.........

Such a treat to find the Bobolinks today! To elaborate on directions, there were at least 3 males on the west side of the Wet Woods (Tommy Thompson Park), near Unwin Ave, in the small wooded area with an opening in the middle. Some people refer to this spot as "the Hollow", "the Bowl" or "the Grotto"; there is currently a white plastic lawn chair inside. They were primarily hanging out in the very tops of the trees. If they are not relocated in this area, you may have luck in the north field.  -Kris
