Excellent shots, Rob. Exactly the kind I would like to take. I've observed many posts regarding technical equipment and, after seeing your stunning photos, may I ask what camera and lens you use?

I used an old Nikon D1H ( http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/nikond1h/ ) and a new Nikon 300mm f/4 for this set.

Good to see someone else using the older DSLR's to good advantage. There's lots of good used pro-level bodies around (under $1000_  for those interested in capturing flight shots.
