These are from Ashbridges Bay - today.

Thanks in advance...
I'm guessing Northern Waterthrush, but could be totally off base.

I don't know if there is enough visible to id this one. And I'm sure the disheveled look is not helping.

I think the second one is a Tennessee Warbler with the greenish back, strong eye-brow and white undertail coverts.

The second one is clearly a "confusing fall warbler". I'm seeing some conflicting field marks, but Palm seems likely. Palm Warblers usually don't go long without bobbing their tails. You can often pick them out by behaviour before you get a good look at them.

Palm would have yellow undertail coverts and Magnolia would have wing bars. I stick with Tennessee.

You'll notice that this bird does have wing bars - have a look at the wing coverts that aren't being obscured by other feathers (scapulars?). There's some edging.

I would also agree now with thouc now that I look at the bird more.  The yellowish back, black eye stripe greyish-blueish face overall and no streaking seem to point to Tennesse.  I myself can't seem to see any distinctive wing bars from this bird.

Thanks all

I appreciate everyone's help with the key identifying markers. Tennessee is a first for me.
