A great morning in the backyard with Magnolia Warblers, American Redstarts, one Brown Thrasher, 2 Catbirds, a Merlin, a Cooper's Hawk, 2 Eastern Wood Pewees, a House Wren, 5 Scarlett Tanagers, 5 Swainson's Thrush, 2 Purple Finch, 3 Ruby-throated Hummingbirds and so on. But the largest number of birds by far were Northern Flickers. They invaded my garden and the neighbour's garden. About 15 at a time.
