Hey!

What is the status of Red Bellied Woodpeckers in Ontario, More specifically near Georgian bay, Tiny Township?

I spotted a pair today in the trees across the street from my summer house/cottage in Tiny Township?

I found an image of one on the ofo page  and the caption stated that if spotted in the Lowlands area it should be reported?

Thanks in advance

Per eBird it seems to be fairly regular in the area now (multiple sightings in Wasaga Beach, Awenda Provincial Parks), but it's only recently it has expanded it's range up there.

Note that the Lowlands review zone is the north-most zone (i.e. the Hudson Bay Lowlands), and does not include the Georgian Bay area.
