An Orange-crowned warbler this afternoon, along with a male Common Yellow-throat, Black-throated Blues and Greens, Parulas, Magnolias, Ovenbirds, Palms and perhaps 80 to 100 Yellow-rumps many feeding on the ground. Winter Wrens and over a dozen thrush - Hermits, Swainson's and Grey-cheeked. A Philadelphia Vireo, 5+ Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers, Brown Creepers, lots of WT Sparrows and as I was leaving a Rusty Blackbird flew down to the rocks to poke around by the edge of the marina. The rainy weather and midge infestation has made for a wonderful bird bonanza.
