The Cave Swallows reported on Ontbirds were still there this afternoon, a lifer for me :D
They looked like they were going to roost so there is a good chance they are still there in the morning.

The location is Carrington Promenade. They were flying back and forth along the waterfront so other nearby parks might work as well.

Two Cave Swallows were seen at the filtration plant in Sedgewick Park, Oakville yesterday. We saw them this morning flying around and sitting on the railings.
If you are heading out to look for them I think this park may be your best bet

I saw the one at Bronte Bluffs yesterday when I went for the Red Phalarope (lifer). Amazing looks at both of them, but there were no reports of either of them today, so I guess they departed.

The Cave Swallows were still being seen today at Sedgewick Park.  I haven't heard any reports of the phalarope, however.

And I had a pretty crappy look at the Glossy Ibis in Oshawa in between, not a lifer, but new for Ontario for me.

It was pretty close in May (9 days between Kentucky Warbler and Swainson's Warbler and 11 days to the Wilson's Plover) otherwise it was a bit over 2.5 years since I hade 2 lifers in the GTA within a week.

Interestingly enough, the last three years November has been the best month for me for new Ontario birds with 8 beating out May with 6.

I went to seek my lifer in the form of Cave Swallow near Sedgwick Park around lunch time - no luck. The area was new to me, didn't know exactly where to look for them. Didn't have much time either. So, I parked the car in the Coronation Park and looked around at the entrance of the water treatment building. Ah, well, if the sighting continues I'll try my luck again on another day.

Hey Dinu, according to eBird reports the Cave Swallows were seen today (Monday) by several people.
If you go again they are flying over the water treatment plant, or sitting on the railings. You'll have to observe them thru the chain link fence, either the north or east fence.

The birds are likely picking off insects that are flying above the water.  This treatment plant is heated and the heat as well as the sewage keeps insects alive well into the cold days...and along with them also certain bug eating birds.  So it's probably best to get a view of the water and the birds shouldn't be too far.
