Turkey Vulture

On March 24, at around 5 p.m. I saw a lone turkey vulture soaring near my place in Ayton ON...grey county...the next day we got walloped with a winter storm. Poor bugger probably fled back south. Or froze.
It was my first returnee of this year...no signs of robins etc.

Well I saw it again...the lone turkey vulture...and a few american goldfinches...but that's it so far....back in Mississauga, I have seen scaups, buffleheads and sharp tails in Port Credit still but not as many as usual in winter...sigh...
