As there was a break in the rain, soon after 2 PM this afternoon decided to drop by Centennial Park. It was the first time for me so I didn't know where to start. After crossing a bunch of picnic areas and playgrounds I eventually I ended up in a forested area by the north west side of the big lake. As I started walking through the trail inside I felt like I entered into an enchanted forest. Whichever direction I looked I saw Yellow-rumped Warbler - never seen so many in such a small area. I couldn't count them all. Just wow. They were everywhere. And so were a large number of palm warblers. I also saw my FOY Pine, Nashville, and Yellow at the same location. Seems like a nice place for warbler stop over.
