Hi everyone,
I was just reading on OntBirds in a post from Ron Pittaway that the Thayer's Gull is now classified as a sub-species of the Iceland Gull as per the newly updated checklist from the American Ornithological Union. This move has been debated by the experts for eons and probably comes as no surprise to many of you. To all those birders who are 'listers' like myself, please remove one 'tick'.
Good birding,
Walter
Enjoy the long weekend!!!

Is backyard birding our new normal?
