Great Blue flyby on the Barrie waterfront. Cool to see it go by below my point of view.

My fav of your bunch is the swans, beautiful shot. Here is one I took a while back of a snowy owl, it was spooked by a farmer dropping the front shovel part of a front end loader while working outside. Lucky for me it flew towards my location and here is the result.

Lovely series of birds in flight shots. I posted a Red-tailed Hawk photo with Canadian flag as backdrop - but that post was lost. So, here are two more from me. A Scissor-tailed Flycatcher from Marie Curtis Park in Etobicoke early this year and a Bald Eagle flyby with a Raccoon for lunch.

When I initially suggested this thread, my intention was to post photos that depict birds in several phases of flight within one photo, like the swan and geese photos above.  However, you are posting beautiful single images of owls and other birds in flight!  I am glad the thread turned out this way!!!
Here are a few from Frenchman's Bay this summer:

Thanks. Magnificent bird.
Is that a bench in the background that would allude to a peopled park?
Surely Great Gray Owls eschew pedestrian traffic of any kind.

It sure is a park, 3 GGO's spent the entire winter their last year and ate daily as the vole population was very high.
