I was outside just now observing the beautiful moon when I heard an odd sound, I looked  a little to my left and here is a large group approx 30 Swans flying North in a perfect "V" formation Illuminated by ground lighting.  I assume Tundra's as they were huge and all white.

Napper :)

p.s It was an intereresting day,  Am Robins today in numbers (Milton)
At Downsview least one RWB an AM. Robin and an Am. Kestrel dive bombing a Snowy Owl.

An interesting sighting Napper.  A few years back, don't remember what month tho, I made a short video clip of a full moon and a large bird with deep and slow wing flaps flew across the scene.  I've always thought that it was likely a swan.  We'll never know for sure tho as the camera was focused on the moon, of course.

Good birding,
Walter :)
