A beautiful set of photos. I was there in the middle of last week for a successful search of an American Woodcock - I saw four. It was quieter at that time for sure.

Beautiful birds! I found a golden crowned kinglet yesterday in the tree in front of my house while I was trying to handfeed a nuthatch and a chickadee. No luck so far, the chickadee thougt about it for a long time but said no.
