Cranberry Marsh at least 3 different clutches of chicks

Lots of light for your shots and close too.
I visited the marsh and got to see the adult and a couple of chicks.
I thought the chicks would be smaller. Only one chick ever emerged
into the open (sort-of) at a time. When one disappeared into the veg
the other emerged. The adult took off for a long time. Then it returned
very briefly and disappeared into the water lily patch never to reveal itself
again. One chick followed and was also swallowed up. The second chick
disappeared elsewhere. Thanks for your tip as to their location.
When did you take these shots?
