Broad winged or red tailed?

When I saw the bird, I was quite sure it was a broadwinged because of the size and overall white color.  After I checked my field guide, I'm less sure. Please help...

When seen from below the dark patagial bar at the leading edge of the wing is a good field mark for a Red-tailed.
With Red-tails there is some variation in plumage with regards to belly band and how light/dark the bird is but I think this is an adult. In pic #3 the tail is plain with a hint of red colour. An immature bird would show some tail banding without the hint of red..
