Nice Fox sparrow! I have not seen one before. Goldern-Crowned kinglets bring me endless frustration. I took a walk Sunday afternoon in the ravine. They were abundant, they were chipping all the time (maybe warn one another about me approaching), one even stood at the tip of a plant to check me out, but I simply can't get a shot!

Fantastic set, as usual. Love the Fox Sparrow shot. From time to time Rosetta can produce surprises. Last time when I was there back in the summer I managed to see three Grey-morphed Eastern Screech Owl chicks together with two adults. Close by on another three there were two Northern Flicker chicks.
