I saw 2 different hawks while driving north of Kitchener and need some help in IDing these.

Thanks Thomas.  I was thinking of those but my inexperience and different colouring in online photos threw me off a bit.  I didn't even know there were dark and light morph Hawks.   :D

Thats what my 13 year old son said when we stopped at the side of the road for the Northern Harrier. He got some great aerial shots close up but by the time I crawled into the back seat the Harrier sat on the ground slightly further away and just stayed there until we left.

So lucky, I have never met any raptor just sits on the ground.
