What an extraordinary paint job.
As if it fell onto a wet paint palette,
or just discovered Photoshop,
or committed to decoration for some pagan ritual,
or was intercepted on-route to some sort of war path.
If I ever saw one pf those I would have to go home and have a stiff drink.

While it's colourful plumage really stood out -- It merged right in with the American Goldfinch, White-crowned Sparrows, Dark-eyed Juncos, House Sparrows, Mourning Doves, Chickadees, House Finches, Red-bellied Woodpecker and others. It certainly looked to be in good shape and certainly got a good feed while I was there.

Escapee or not -- is not important to me --- I just absolutely & thoroughly enjoyed seeing it.
