I was working on horse farm in east Brampton years ago and had a Redtail come thru one of the bay windows in my living room. The pair of hawks always were on the hydro poles in the laneway, as the house was set quite far back from the road. It flapped around the room for a couple of seconds, then settled in a corner. I think it was abit stunned. I put on my heavy coat (this happened in late December) and gloves and checked the bird out from abit of a distance that is was Ok. I saw no blood so I opened the outside door and after a few minutes it few out. I chased it to make it fly and it looked Ok. I think the noon time sun made a glare on the window and maybe the bird lost it position for a second or was it after my wooden carved chipmunk?
