Hey!

Friday, Monday and today at 5:35 am while traveling  on 401 Eastbound I've noticed a Snowy sitting on top of a tall pole Just North of the 401 West bound lanes before the 410 bridge.  see link https://goo.gl/maps/fxVaTrJDw5M2

On a sad note I spotted what I looked like a large Hawk down on the inside shoulder of West Bound 401 Under the 410 bridge area at 2:30 today.  There was another hawk hovering close by.

Napper  :D   then  :(

p.s I'm still seeing Snowy's at Downsview,  same M.O. Just before 9 am heading  towards the tracks.

I Carpool from Mississauga every day, as a passenger I keep head on a swivel looking for these things.
The Owl was there again on Friday around 5:35 am.

Also spotted a large Mystery bird "Looked like an owl" on a hydro or phone cable  along Derry Rd. South side between
Trafalgar and 407. The snow on the ground provided enough light for me to see it.

I was on a GO bus , it was approx 5:20 ish.

Napper:)

You have your own bobble head?! lol jk.....and I was jk'ing re: snow squall....I haven't spotted a single snowy this year and everyone else is spotting them. Anyone know of any snowies in the Bruce - Grey area?

They mystery bird was probably a crested caracara...years ago Bernice Inman had one at her sanctuary...vandals broke up her bird pens and stole the caracara --- I don't believe it could fly.
