I know its not Southern Ontario but I thought I'd post my sightings here. Algonquin is great in the winter months.

Oh wow, you are one lucky guy. I never seen a moose there. Every time I stopped by the western entrance gate I was told of a sighting or two not too far. However, no luck. And you ended up seeing two. Which general location were they seen?

They wandered onto roadside around Cache lake.

Apparently a rare sighting in Winter. If you are really diehard to see one, best bet is to go up in March. They seem to be quite visible then from what I hear.

Nicely done!

The moose have comical expressions...and the marten looks like it's sizing you up as food -- esp. in the pic where it's licking its lips.
