First sighting of an eastern towhee (male) in our backyard here in Scarborough. Accompanied by male and female white-throated sparrows and a male chipping sparrow. First time I've identified the song of the white-throated. Yesterday, a sharp-shinned hawk surveying the feeder kept all others on the alert. Robins currently at work building a nest in one of our cedars. Busy and entertaining spring so far!
