Shorebirds are difficult to ID.
I'm thinking Lesser Yellowlegs for the first, although a Solitary sandpiper
looks similar and appreciation of body size requires a reference. I cannot
see the legs well enough. YL have bright yellow legs and the solitary has
greenish-yellow legs.

The second shot looks like a Least sandpiper. Buffy legs and curved bill.
Where did you photograph these shorebirds?

Shortsighted, thanks for the response. They were photographed in a flooded farm field north of Newton Robinson, Simcoe County.

1. Looks more like Solitary Sandpiper to me
2. Agree with Least Sandpiper
