Here's a photo of the female Summer Tanager that's been hanging around Ashbridges Bay for the past few days. Many thanks to Julie and Theresa for pointing this bird out to me. A new entry for the Ontario list.

Wonderful eye-level shot with plenty of strong light.
What time of day was this taken?
Where in the park was the Summer Tanager hanging around?
Thanks for posting

It was around nine o'clock in the morning. The bird was in a tree in flower and actually feeding on the flowers. When you come into the park from the parking lot, there's a fence on your right. If you follow along that fence, you come to the water where the marina is. The bird was in a stand of deciduous trees before you get to the water and about thirty meters east of the fence. It disappeared after an hour or so, but it's been hanging around since Sunday at this point. Good luck if you go.
