Not only does Pelee seem like a warbler wonderland but its diminutive denizens
appear to find comfort in the ground-level realm of man. You have a way with
these woodland actors in getting their best performance... I'm ready for my close-up Mr. Hood.
I think if you could visit Pelee more often you could put out a warbler reference book.
How is it that Pelee warblers come down from the trees as if trained to mingle with the photographers,
or have you managed to devise a secret technique that you can't share with me without having to kill me
afterwards. Your decision to make the trip has clearly paid off in jpg dividends. I've always been most
excited by the Blackburnian breeding male and your photo of that bird is indeed as good as it gets.
Up until this spring I never managed to photograph one. Even now, the warbler shots I got are compromised
by surrounding branches and twigs. Your Blackburnian is beautifully unencumbered by annoying tundra. Well done!
