Validation of 2 Hawks

Good morning,
looking to validate these 2 hawks.
First one (#222) was shot in South Carolina
Second one (#111) was shot in BC.

Your help is appreciated

I have not had much experience with birds of prey.
Close encounters such as your wonderful shots are usually
of a more common species. I would love to say that your
first hawk is a juvenile Goshawk with that faint light
eyebrow but even a Cooper's can have a touch of that
aristocratic feature ( rounder tail tip with white edge).
I think the first hawk is a juvenile Cooper's and the second is a juvenile Sharp-shinned.
(small head to body plumpness / squarish tail ).
It's hard to say. The first hawk's head is well-rounded AND
small like a Sharp-shinned too. Also the eye is dead-center
of the head, unlike a Cooper's. Other members will likely set
you straight while my evil ways will lead you yo a dark place.
BC? Carolinas? You get around! I've been to Mississauga a couple
of times. I could tell you stories.

BC birds have a slightly different colour profile.
I'll have to dig out my raptor bible.

Thanks for the info, checked my resource books further and I agree that they both look like juvenile Cooper's.  
My thoughts were that Cooper's had a more "flat" crown and grayer back.  
I thought 1 might be a sharp-shinned but tails look longer.  Definite contrast between front and back leans to Cooper's.
