Although 2 men were fishing at the bank, I was still startled to see a catfish in the grass, and you could imagine my feeling when a beaver slapped the water about the same time. Turned out to be two, maybe mother and son.

I didn't expect to see two catfish on the same day. fun to see all the fish snapping birds in the same pond.

I wonder whether the RTH's are courting, they screech back and forth all the time.
