I dropped by the park around lunch time today and saw at least 11 different species of warblers in the little wooded section of the park. Amazing to see them up close as they kept on feeding in one little corner of the park. I'll post photos later. Then there were other birds of course including kinglets, raptors and thrushes.

Lucky you. I was just wondering where all the warblers have gone.
Haven't seen a warbler, of any species, since the Nashville in the backyard and that
was quite a while ago. Spotted a pair of Yellow-bellied sapsuckers in the woodlot
across the street. They were about 20 - 25 feet up and stayed on the shadow side
of the tree, while I was on the sunlit side. Constant traffic didn't help matters.

Wow, can't wait to see the pics! And where is the wooded section? Close to that pond?

The woodlot I was referring to is on the north of the big pond, on the east side of the newly created North Plaza. The warblers were all hanging around at the entrance.

Thank you so much, hope they for a bit, so I get to see them.

Regards,
