I did not find any owls, not surprising, I'm not that good at it to begin with. I struggled to remember the name of the black backed gull, then laughed.

I also saw a Peregrine falcon chased a longtailed duck into the water with a huge bang. and a muskrat briefly surfaced. Didn't get shot. But so astonished to be there.

Way to go Ally.I was thinking of coaxing you to go out a try getting shots of winter water fowland here you are ... already on the job.Outstanding work ethic.

Nice assortment!
If you were there in the afternoon the birders probably went to Woodbine Park for the Black-throated Gray Warbler that was discovered there.
