It was so busy trying to get some food between the edges of the wood at the top of the fence it did not notice me. Then it's tail?

It is probably about to jump, extended the tail to steer itself. I have a pair of these at my backyard; however, they are not mating pair as I see one constantly chasing the other one away from the feeder.

They're the best....always so polite at the feeders....they're the dominant species of squirrel for us....in the winter they tunnel through the snow which is cool.
