What a moth-eaten hawk! Those Gypsy moths will feed on anything. There are so many of those moths flying around here that I soon expecting to witness murmurations.

A blue jay kept doing his RTH impression in my neighbour's tree right now. Might have witnessed the mobbing earlier.

A Blue jay can deliver a wide variety of calls. What gets me are those howling cries that remind me of monkeys. When several are chorusing in the woods across the street it makes it seem like a tropical forest, made all the more convincing by the equatorial heat and humidity that so often prevails. Keep the pics coming Madame Butterfly.
