My first Cedar Waxwings of the year, and they are kissing. Heard the Piedbilled Grebe and found one eventually

A couple of Palms, and I missed the shot of two fighting in the air. I wonder the Gnat was hunting the Black Throated Blue.

You really have a gnat for finding warblers. I haven't seen a single one yet in the street-side woodlot. Very nice shots of the Yellow-rumped warblers, which I still prefer to call by their former moniker Myrtle warbler. Terrific capture of the Pied-billed grebe. Close to water level and fine profile. It took me forever to get a shot of a PBG with my point-and-shoot camera. Even with the Canon T4i and the 200mm lens I never achieved what I wanted. Way to go!

Thanks. I'm glad I pushed myself out instead of just worry about whether it's going to rain.
