Lucky you, you found some good variety. All I am seeing lately are Ruby-crowned Warblers and Yellow-rumped. On Sunday morning I went to Bowmanville marsh for Hudsonian Godwit and on the way back dropped by Corner Marsh in Ajax for a Glossy Ibis triplet. Found none, they departed the day before.

Nope, I didn't see the Godwit. The muddy bank had quite a few shorebirds, mostly Yellowlegs but no trace of the Godwit. It was a big marsh and it could be anywhere. I also went to Long Point on Sep 30 and saw 5 of them through scope, not good for any photos. Here's a photo of a Hudsonian that I took 8 years ago in Presqu'ile.

SS, my Z9 (mirrorless) has better ISO performance compared to D800 (DSLR) but not compared to my D6 (DSLR) which is still the best for low ISO photography. Here's a photo of a Mourning Warbler taken by D5 (predecessor of D6) at ISO 20000 - the details are still good.

All modern cameras are getting better in ISO performance - sensor size has more to do with it. The Godwit photos were taken with D800. that was the first time I waded knee deep water to go over to Gull Island only to see and take photos of the Godwit. D800 is good to ISO 3200, after that it gets progressively worse.

The biggest thing I learned about photography is that noise doesn't mean sound. Everything else Shortsighted worked so hard to teach is stored on this site, which will benefit so many readers in generations to come. Me, I am a hopeless student, don't feel bad, I know you tried.
