On Sep 30, on the way back from Long Point a friend of mine and I saw a Snowy Owl sitting on a farm field by the side of Highway 6, just south of Jarvis. My friend briefly parked his car on the shoulder, and we took some distant photos. This is the earliest in a season I have seen a Snowy Owl.
