Wood ducks in Rouge

Further to my previous post in answer to the first signs of spring (in Milton), which I identified to me as Hooded merganser in flooded woodland, I found some more of them, although not many, and a few Wood ducks as well. Unfortunately, after the merganser flew in and landed on the water they were pointed away from me and then retreated perhaps due to my noisy shutter. I was hoping that they might interpret the shutter slapping as a woodpecker. Perhaps not.
