I took a walk in the park this morning between 7 a.m. and 9 o'clock. There were a few juvenile warblers present but only during the first hour when the bushes were mostly in shadow. I concentrated on those location that were blessed by the early morning rays because I'm getting tired of shooting at ISO 800. Sightings included: Red-eyed vireo, Yellow-rumped warbler, Canada warbler, Nashville warbler, hummingbird, Song sparrow, Baltimore oriole (male and female), Gray Catbird, Cedar waxwing and some other warblers that I couldn't photograph or get a good enough look at to ID them. It's fair to say though that most of the warblers that I set eyes on were YRWs. Not a single flycatcher though ... not even a kingbird. I also saw a hawk (soaring) but the sun was in my eyes. It wasn't a RTH and too big for a Coopers. It stayed in the sun and flew off just as its wings started to melt.
