Much colder this morning and also quieter. The grasses were wet, then my pants were wet, but I had rubber boots on so it wasn't too uncomfortable, not that anyone would really care about my level of comfort. Apparently I don't care either. Aaanyyy way, the sun was bright and the breeze was notable and the absence of warblers was lamentable. I discovered only one warbler in the form of a juvenile Common yellowthroat near a reedy spot, naturally. Also saw one flycatcher. It was either a Least FC, or a Yellow-bellied FC. The wing bars were buffy so it was likely a juvenile bird as well. Green heron flyby too.
