Pileated, Hairy and Humming birds. Tiny Township

Hey!This Morning we had two Pileated's in the tree behind the House, one flew down to the Catalpa tree in our front yard and then to the Oak tree beside the house. The two Hairy's were next door and out of range. Another Humming bird sitting watching the Chickadee's.

Wow, that's certainly extraordinarily close for a Pileated woodpecker. Now that I think about it, I haven't seen one or even heard one for quite some time. Good shot of it too. I also haven't seen many hummers because I took down the feeder for a while. When I do glimpse a hummer in the park or even in the garden it is never perched, always on the move, never hovering for more than three seconds before relocating.

I was standing on the driveway maybe 20 feet from both the Pileated and the Hummingbird.I think the Hummingbird might actually be a Juvenile male. The other Pileated was behind the house near the top of the Oak tree knocking bark off the tree, sounded like someone with a hammer hitting the tree.
