I will continue to use the current names.

I don't have a problem with renaming of species to get rid of eponyms.  I actually prefer names that provide something descriptive about the appearance, behaviour, habitat, or some other characteristic.  Something like "Black-capped warbler" would be much for helpful for a beginner birder than "Wilson's warbler".
