Yesterday's beautiful weather brought out butterflies at various Toronto parks.  Saw a photo online of a Mourning Cloak butterfly - park location in Toronto not listed.

Today in Mississauga rain hitting the windows.  :P

Took our bikes out for the first time on Wednesday. Had a butterfly come up from the road, but could not ID it.  Don’t think it was a MC, smaller and darker.  Not good on my ID of BFs.  I have Crocuses blooming!!!!

I'm not good at identifying flowers or plants. Had to look up Crocus on Google Images and recognized the pretty lavender/purple flowers.   :)

There is a tree along the back fence that has leaves forming. We have Crocuses blooming as well and the Hostas and Daffodils are well on their way. The Next door Neighbour has Tulips that are 8 inches tall already.Lilacs are showing signs of life.
I still expect some Spring winter storms. Last year we had to delay planting veggies until 2nd week of June.

Apparently there might be a bit of snow tomorrow then more in forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday.  Today was windy and tonight has been raining.

What sort of veggies do you plant?

My purple snow pea, purple Dutch pea and yellow peas are out on my balcony. I may have to harvest the leaves tomorrow.

I forgot to save the seeds of the yellow banana peppers. Will have to buy these in the store.

I have planted the seeds of cherry tomatoes including Strawberry Sunrise Bumblebee, Yellow Pear, Sungold and Chocolate Berries. They have not sprouted.
