Catfish in the Rouge

Young catfish in the shallow water of the Rouge River flood plane.  They are a lot quieter than catbirds.

That looks bigger than a typical bullhead, though I am not sure about the scale in the picture.  What species do you think it is?

I don't know what species this catfish is.  They are just small young fish maybe 6" long.  Most likely Channel or Bullhead.  Since I never went fishing for catfish (back in the day) I do not know much about them, except that some can become monstrous in size (we're going to need a bigger boat) and that their flesh is fatty, and therefore many people's idea of delicious.
