Cranberry Marsh - trade of three Greater for six Lesser

A fair trade? Depends. Yesterday we had three Greater yellowlegs that were absent today but fate felt guilty and closed the proceedings with six Lesser yellowlegs. Besides, these lesser were greatly more co-operative, requiring lesser magnification and therefore greater detail. Apparently a Virginia rail showed up again, right beside the sora, but I was checking out the other clearing when it happened, so I missed it. I got quite a few shots of sora now. Cranberry Marsh is fed by Lynde Creek. I was thinking that if I was out west of the GTA, near Bronte Creek, and captured a shot of a sora out there ... well, I'd have a Brontesora. A gigantic prehistoric swamp chicken. I'm such a child.
