Exciting times, for sure. I appreciate your enthusiasm, which comes through in your text. As far as back-lit goes, every time I go out with camera in tow I think how often I spot a bird that is positioned directly into the sun. This isn't coincidence. It happens all the time. Between shooting into the sun and being interrupted by canine agents and there security detail I sometimes wonder why I even bother. I guess that I'm still upset by missing a Wilson's warbler today by the dog show, which is always held in the park and comes with exhaustive deliberations between owners and the judges (other owners). Of course, then I remind myself that these various parks, within the GTA, would not even exist if it was not for pet owners. Dogs are their raison d'etre. Parks were not planned for birders. I read that somewhere.
