I really like the look of the Arundale Sky Cafe Squirrel-Proof Birdfeeder, I like squirrels and all, but I am getting tired of always filling it for them and not my birds. I live in north Mississauga. I have been to Rona, Home Depot, Canadian Tire. This particular feeder I have found out west in BC, but them I am paying for shipping... anywhere in the GTA??

Here is a pick of it

Thank you for your help gang!!

Did you try the birding place in Streetsville?

Not sure if they have it or not - haven't been there yet!

There is a good bird store in Toronto called 'Bird Watch' (http://www.birdwatchcanada.com/), that has many different styles of feeder.  There is a similar store on the Queensway by Islington, but I can't remember the name.

However, there are a few other options -
1.  Use 'squirrel free' feed.  They won't eat it.
2.  Use your regular feed, but sprinkle a few peanuts under the feeder every time you fill it.

I use option 2, and find that the squirrels are so busy trying to hide the peanuts under the feeder, they forget about the feeder itself.

Well, thank you everyone for your help. I did mange to find it at the Wild Birds Unlimited on Dundas west, Etobicoke. A little expensive... but whether from the US or BC, it is all about the same. Between the new feeder and the better bird seed from them, wow!!! It was like there was a party in my backyard!!!! At one point I had about 6 House finches, 8 Gold Finches, a couple of chickadees, about 6 or so Junco's!! It was awesome...

I highly recommend this feeder!! The squirrels are not eating as much as they were, they can barely hang on from the bottom... that'll be fixed in the spring with a new hanger... I'll post some photos later... from the weekend.
