Great photo - unfortunately it'll mean increased predation on saw whets!

Yes your right, owl population is dropping fast over on owl woods. On Saturday and Sundaya this past weekend only found 1 long eared ( normally about a dozen); 3 Sawwhet ( normally 8), & 1 boreal (was up to 3). The boreal is really well hidden over there.
